The reason I was going for the peanut butter is that I told my dietician that I thought maybe I was getting hungrier each day due to insufficient calories in my TPN, which she confirmed. We’re going to up it from maintenance 1500-ish calories to 1800-ish, but in the meantime I thought maybe I could bolster it with a near liquid food that’s got multiple calorie sources: protein, sugar, and oil. It’ll take 3 more bags before they switch me to the new regime.
